\nDGS-F1100-10PS-E is a managed switch designed to meet the requirements of
\nsmall, medium, and enterprise businesses. DGS-F1100-10PS-E supports multiple PoE
\nstandards make it ideal for IP surveillance deployments. Advanced management
\nfeatures, a range of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, and energy efficient
\ntechnologies provide a flexible solution to meet your networking requirements.
\nAdvanced Features
\nThe DGS-F1100-10PS-E is equipped with advanced security features such as Static MAC, Storm
\nControl, and IGMP Snooping. Static MAC allows users to create a MAC whitelist for specific ports,
\nhelping administrators limit network access to authorized devices only. Storm Control monitors
\nbroadcast, multicast, or unknown unicast traffic and will start blocking or discarding packets which
\ncould flood the network when the defined threshold is exceeded. IGMP Snooping can reduce the
\nload of L3 multicast routers and save bandwidth in network throughput The IEEE 802.3x Flow
\nControl function allows servers to directly connect to the switch for fast, reliable data transfers.
\nThe switch also supports advanced features such as static routes, which allow network
\nadministrators to divide the network into VLANs, increasing network efficiency. The DGS-F1100-
\n10PS-E supports Voice VLAN and Port VLAN, allows voice and video traffic to be automatically
\nidentified and handled differently than regular network traffic, adding a layer of isolation and
\nallowing Quality of Service (QoS) to be applied.
\nPoE Support
\nThe DGS-F1100-10PS-E provides Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, reducing deployment time
\nfor IP cameras, VoIP phones, and access points. Dedicated power adapters are no longer
\nrequired, as the DGS-F1100-10PS-E comply with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards and
\nprovide up to 30 watts per port.<\/p>\n
